WHY?

Because we believe that all humans deserve the right to self-love, connection, and community.

WHEN:

10th - 12th Feb 2023

WHERE:

Chestnut Hill Conference Lodge, Kallista (Dandenong Ranges)

So let’s get real for a moment here…

Life isn’t easy, in fact at times it can be incredibly challenging… And or stressful, overwhelming, sad, lonely, etc

The list goes on and we (the facilitators) are no strangers to these adversities.

Tom, Mike, and El sat down and discussed what our lives looked like before we became facilitators…

Turns out (and not surprisingly) that we all suffered different forms of depression, stress, anxiety, self worth, self pity and self sabotage, as well as a general unknowing of what our life purpose was followed by a lack of motivation to even find out.

Can you relate?

If so, this workshop is designed for you!

The content covered over the 2.5 days is a collaboration of coping strategies, emotional regulation practices, and general wellbeing exercises.

This transformational retreat will give you the skills wherever you are, to re-centre, re-focus, and re-energise as you kick off 2023.

Your Facilitators:

Tom Robb: @Life is the Way

Tom Robb is a ‘real talk’ speaker, mentor, and workshop facilitator.

Tom’s story begins with an early love for adventure and a passion for teaching. While studying at university, Tom felt the white-knuckle grip of anxiety and depression take hold for the first time and his happy-go-lucky nature felt like it had disappeared overnight. After breaking down the deeply ingrained beliefs that society held around men talking about their mental health, Tom found the courage to reach out for help and confide in friends and family.

What started out as a Diploma and Degree in Outdoor and Environmental Education transformed into something far greater. Tom’s mental health journey saw him go on to study material on psychology, psychotherapies, and mind mastery. He completed his yoga and meditation teacher training which gave him the tools he needed to get back on track. Tom has now spent 15 years working in the field of self-development and guided discovery helping his clients to make healthier choices, honor their truth and navigate their own mental health journey.

Tom's powerful presentations and workshops are recognised nationwide. His ability to connect authentically with any demographic has allowed him to reach over 10,000 people in schools, higher education, and companies, giving them the tools to face fears, dive deep and unlock their true, ultimate potential.

El : @_eluminate

El first came across breathwork in the Philippines in 2016 and had a deep and profound experience. After this experience, she went back home and continued life as she knew it only to end up working a job that was unsatisfying causing a very dysregulated nervous system. She was experiencing extreme anxiety, in countless toxic relationships and felt very disconnected from herself and her purpose. This was a turning point for El and she started searching for some answers through many different healing modalities, including breathwork. She came to realise that breathwork is something that she really resonated with and primarily used this method to help her in regulating her nervous system once more and uncovering and healing deep trauma that was stored in the body. Eventually, it became clear that she is to further her training and share this profound healing modality with others to help them navigate and heal themselves so they can gain clarity on living their fullest potential.

She has traveled to Mexico and Greece to complete facilitator training and several other workshops to expand her knowledge of the breath, trauma, and other healing methods to be able to guide and assist others. El is not only an experienced breathwork facilitator but has also been facilitating young people in weeklong hiking and outdoor education journeys for the last 8 years. She holds space in a safe, compassionate, and intuitive way using a combination of facilitating styles she has developed and experienced through working with different humans in different environments.

Mike: @OnayaWellness

After spending extended time living and working at a retreat center in the Andes mountains Mike discovered his path of service. Since then he has spent the last 8 years traveling the world building a skill set to follow this path.

He first went to China to study Tai Chi and Qigong. India where he completed teacher training in both Kundalini and Tantra yoga as well as completing various meditation and healing courses including sound healing, Reiki, and trauma-informed plant medicine facilitator training.

His Journey took him back to Central/South America where he spent a couple of years offering his skills at various retreat centers in Ecuador, Colombia, and Mexico. He also completed his Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release (BBTRS) training during this time.

He has spent a lot of time honing and refining the ability to hold space for others in both an integral and trauma-informed manner.
